Meeting Your Ex The First Time Since Your Split

When you meet your ex for the first time you may feel you have to go all out and make a special effort in the way you look at dress. This couldnít be further from the truth. As much as you would think he would want a carbon copy of a Hollywood starlet the fact is he fell in love with you and even though your relationship ended, if heís willing to meet you for a coffee, chances are heís still in love with you.
Whilst you may have lost a few pounds or even done something different with your hair itís not like he would want to meet up with a totally different looking person.
When you first approach your ex for a laid back chat it should be just that, laid back. Meet up in a public place which is neutral ground. Thereís no need to put together an elaborate dinner or anything like that.

The first thing on the agenda should be how he has been and if heís seen anyone else after he ended thing with you then that is best left off the conversation menu.
Meeting your ex for the first time after youíve split up can be really nerve racking and it should be; youíve both changed and grown. Hopefully youíve both learned some important lessons that will put your next attempt at a relationship on stronger footing.
Itís very important to avoid ëwhat went wrong?í type questions during the first meet-up with your ex. There will be plenty of time to discuss what went wrong at another meeting.
For now youíre focus should be how much youíve changed. If you had some traits that he didnít like or that really werenít appealing you may have taken your time apart to remove them from your day to day life. This is a plus and you should feel really proud of yourself. Itís enough to break the ice positively without lingering too much in the past.
